Our greenhouse filled with plants for Master Gardener projects this April.

Our Story: In 2006, the River Valley Master Gardeners decided that our area needed a education center to teach good horticultural practices to the community.  That winter planning began.  After securing a location at Chaffee Crossing, infrastructure improvements began with the aim of having our grand opening to the public in summer 2009. To date the Learning Fields, along with volunteers and cooperators, has repaired an old building, installed plumbing, a first-rate greenhouse, fencing, and several demonstrations. We will open our doors to the public on June 20, 2009. We hope to see you there!
